Made these vegan banana beauties for one of my dearest friend´s birthday last week. We had a girly lunch at Mil Mil Agros. (Must say I was disappointed after all the hype surrounding local celebrity chef Dani Garcia). Still we had fun!

Gold and Cream 40th Birthday
Party season in Marbella started off with a bang on Saturday, with a gold and cream themed 40th birthday party. The brilliant venue was Restaurante La Mangaleta in Bahia Marbella and is perfect for an al fresco party, under the trees and by the sea. There was live music by the singer from La Sala and a great atmosphere, helped by the gorgeous day.
A great idea for a party game, download these celebrity faces from the internet and put on skewers. A certain ice-breaker at a table!

Laduree Inspired...
I think my favourite party theme would have to be 'Vintage'. Obviously it can be interpreted in many ways but I love pretty, pastel and girly. I just came across this gorgeous photo shoot set up by a talented event planner called Melissa Elise Event Design + Styling. It is just divine, reminiscent of a Laduree salon in Paris. It would be perfect for a baby shower or a bridal shower or even a wedding.
I love the idea of a tea bar! What a brilliant and original idea! Will have to use that one!
